Dr. Nilesh Dinesh Pardhe

A committed academician, clinician and researcher with
over 20 years of experience at leading Indian Dental
institutions, diagnosing & treating patients, mentoring
teams & teaching students from various social and
cultural backgrounds.
Possessing excellent
administrative, verbal communication and written skills
along with constructive and effective teaching methods
that promote a stimulating learning environment.
Comfortable with all academic/clinical environments and
able to demonstrate a vast range of other transferable
skills and organizational/administrative expertise. I
have an unwavering commitment to scientific rigor,
lifelong learning, and staying abreast of scientific
advances.
I earned my dental degrees from top notch dental schools of India, like Nair Hospital Dental College at Mumbai University, and quickly progressed to my M.D.S. in oral pathology and microbiology from the Government Dental College & Hospital at Mumbai University in the year 2003.
I have authored over 120
peer reviewed national and international publications
and a Textbook titled “Fluoride: Recent
Concepts” published by Lambert Academic Publishing. I am
on the editorial board and reviewer panel of many
international and national reputed journals. I hold
senior membership of the Indian Association of Oral &
Maxillofacial Pathologists (IAOMP) and have been the
Executive Committee Member of the IAOMP for three
consecutive years from 2014 -17.
I have presented
several award winning scientific deliberations at
national & international platforms and organized the
XXIV National Conference of IAOMP in Jaipur, as the
Organizing Chairman. I also have been the Scientific
Chair for Aquarius 2017, International Annual Symposium
for Dental, Medical and Allied Sciences organized by
NIMS University, Jaipur. Additionally, I worked to
develop a mobile app ‘Can-ID' for screening of oral
cancer with the principal objective of creating mass
awareness regarding oral cancer – mainly the risk
factors, clinical signs and symptoms, and preventive
measures. The app has been sent for copyright to
‘Copyright office- Government of India’ dated
11-28-2021, Diary Number: 28660/2021-CO/SW. Furthermore,
my research has greatly impacted my fellow researchers,
as seen through their many citations of my work. In
total, my work has been cited more than 332 times
according to Google Scholar. For example, my article,
“Primordial Odontogenic Tumor of Mandible; A Case with
Proposed Diagnostic Criteria,” published in 2018 in
the Iranian Journal of Medical Sciences, has received 18
citations to date. For all articles published in the
category of Clinical Medicine in 2018, the average
number of citations is only 9.48. This article is thus
one of the top 20% most-cited articles published in
Clinical Medicine in 2018
